Carson Valley Radio Club
W7DEM & W7SR

The Carson Valley Radio Club began under the call sign W7DI by Dick Flanagan
K7VC in 1987.  In 2002, the call sign was changed to W7DEM and has represented the Carson Valley Radio Club to date.

The W7SR is the club call sign used for the Douglas County DCART ARES-RACES Repeater and the Carson Valley Radio Club Field day and contests.

The KC7ARS call sign is the Churchill Amateur Radio Society (NVCARS) club call.
The CVRC and the NVCARS clubs and repeaters were purchased in 2023.

The Carson Valley Radio Club has been a long time supporter of the State of Nevada ARES/RACES program at the State of Nevada Emergency Operations Center in Carson City, Nevada.

Currently, The Board of Directors for the CVRC and NVCARS are rebranding and consolidating both clubs as the Carson Valley Radio Club, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation.

At this time, we are not solicitating for membership until the club completes the re-branding process.
